Broccoli, Meat & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 cup water
1/2 lb ground chuck
1 cup chopped onion
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
6 slices American cheese
1-1/2 cups cooked rice
1/4 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Cook broccoli in water. Drain and set aside.

3. Brown meat with onion in skillet.

4. In small saucepan, combine cream of mushroom soup and cheese. Cook over medium heat until cheese melts.

5. In casserole dish, combine broccoli, meat mixture and cooked rice.

6. Pour sauce over dish and mix lightly.

7. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

8. Bake for 30 minutes.
